God gave me a word for his people and the word was taken from the book of Matthew 16:24-26. In your spare time please read it. Your word is "It Aint Worth It".This is a message that could be preached from now until Jesus returns. The Pastors today have forgotten to preach Jesus and instead they preach prosperity. It's nothing wrong with prosperity for the word of God says in -3rd John verse 2 "Beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospererth".
God wants us to have nice things but He doesn't want the nice things to have us. When we take Jesus out of the equation and all we talk about is our cars, trucks, jets, homes,money and more money -- then our stuff have us. Some of the Pastors today they preach about the natural stuff and things but what about Jesus? All your worldly possessions do not impress God. They only impress man. But man doesn't have the final say about your soul. It Aint Worth It to gain the world but yet lose your soul. You need to have a relationship with Jesus or I'm mighty afraid that you are going to lost.
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Is anybody teaching Jesus? It is the responsibility of the Pastor to feed the sheep with knowledge and understanding. Knowledge and understanding about the word of God, about salvation and that Jesus saves.While you some of the Pastors are so busy teaching on houses and money the people are dying from spiritual malnutrition.
Signs of suffering from spiritual malnutrition are:
1. poor attendance in your church -- but if somebody says let's go over to Pastor Whatever they are ready and willing to go with excitement.
2. The Sheep come to your church only to go to sleep.
3. Their is no spiritual growth in the sheep that God has given you charge over.
4. You are feeding but they are not receiving. You would know when they receive -- and that is when you can see the change in their lifestyle.
5. When your sheep are speaking more of the carnal than the spiritual. They can't speak what they have not heard. Or can I say that can't talk about Jesus if their spiritual leader is not teaching Jesus. Your sheep can only bring out of them-- what you are feeding them.
Because some of the Pastors' are not feeding the sheep the spiritual nutrients they need to mature -- this is why the sheep are all messed up ! The sheep need to be fed mores spiritual food than some of you pastors are feeding them. Cars and money don't save souls. JESUS SAVES.
Why is there no maturity in the sheep? Because of what the Pastor is feeding them. Pastors you are responsible for the sheep that God has left you to oversee. Our natural things have nothing to do with our relationship with Jesus. Our natural things does not validate who we are in Jesus.
Matthew 6:21 says "For where your treasure is there will your heart be also". Then drop down to the 24th verse and that tells us that "no man can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one, and love the other or else he will hold to the one and despise the other". You can own a car for every day of the week but, If you don't set your treasures on things above - your soul will be lost. What good is it to gain all your worldly stuff -only to lose your soul.
It Aint Worth It to take on all the jobs and money but yet lose your soul. The bible asked a question. What will you give in exchange for your soul? You have your fine cars, you have your fine homes and all your money but where do you think all of these things are going when you die?You can't take any of this stuff with you.
You are only going to leave it here for your family and friends to argue over. While the blood is yet running warm in our veins - this is the time we need to make up our minds where we want to spend eternity. We serve a jealous God and He will not have us worshiping our worldly possessions. It Aint Worth It.
Choose ye this day who you will serve. Will you go to church Sunday or will you stay home to wash your car? Will you go to church Sunday or will you take on some extra hours on your job?Will you give your tithes and offering or will you take that and go to the mall. It's all about our one Jet and how many more we are going to get. It's all about your car and how you will get the next one. But is anybody talking about Jesus and how much more of Him that they want.
"For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul"? Is this you?
